Cell Phone Recycling Fundraising Program Nets Big Profits for Churches

Churches can now organize a "cell phone recycling drive" and earn cash for the donated cell phones they collect.
According to statistics, the average American upgrades their cell phone about once every 18 months and that there are two to three unused cell phone lying dormant in most homes. These statistics can equal big profits for churches by implementing the cell phone recycling fundraising program.

In addition to helping churches raise needed funds, the program provides important services for those less fortunate. American Cell Phone Drive.org donates free cell phones equip with 911 services to low income families that cannot afford cell phones.
More than 4,000 nationwide and local organizations currently partner with American Cell Phone Drive to raise money for their organizations by hosting cell phone drive recycling programs.
"The fundraising system is designed to place very little time and energy constraints on church fundraising organizers. Churches simply spread the word about the cell phone drive to their congregation, place donation boxes in various locations around town, ship the old cell phones to us, and receive their check," explains Pace.
To set up a cell phone recycling fundraising program, organizers can call 1-800-248-5360 to speak with a fundraising coordinator. Church fundraising organizers will receive information and materials on conducting a cell phone recycling donation program.
